Thanks to the category's booming popularity, all kinds of filmmakers, ranging from first-timers shooting with their smartphones to established auteurs wanting to try a new thing have jumped on-board the short film bandwagon in a big way. Filmfare, which has always been on the forefront in spotting the latest trends and talent, has decided to start a digital short film festival primarily aimed at first timers.
The format is simple. Shoot your film, send it to us, be judged by an illustrious jury comprising Karan Johar, Kabir Khan, Vidya Balan, Ravi udayawar, Urmila matondkar, Nikhil Advani, and Niranjan Iyengar and go home with a Black Lady at the Filmfare Awards if you are chosen as the lucky winner.
